The Colts are coming into this game with an 8-6 record this season and right now they are in a position where they can make the Wild Card in the AFC but they also have a chance to win the AFC South as well. They have been playing very well recently as they have won 5 of their last 6 games and Shane Steichen has really transformed this team this year. Other than 1 loss against the Bengals, the Colts have been dominant in their games recently with their offense scoring at least 27 points in 3 of their last 4 games. They are going to have the confidence coming into this game with multiple avenues to the playoffs still open and they have actually been a much better team on the road this season as they are 5-2 on the road. They are going up against a Falcons team that is 6-8 this season and has not been playing well recently as they have been slipping out of the NFC South race over the last few weeks. They have lost their last 2 straight as well as 5 of their last 7 games and last week marked a new low this season as they lost 9-7 to the Panthers who have the worst record in the NFL this season. That put a big hit on their playoff hopes this year and they are not going to have a lot of confidence here with the way they have been struggling on offense, specifically at the quarterback position. Shane Steichen has this Colts offense running very well and they have been the much better team recently as they look more like a playoff team than the Falcons.
