Purdue is coming into this game with a 12-1 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games, but they have also been a much more dominant team at home this season. They have only played 1 road game this season and that was their 1 loss this year as they lost to Northwestern on the road in OT by 4 points. They have some very good quality wins this season as well but even their wins at neutral locations have been more of a struggle for them this year. Their last win at a neutral location came against Arizona by 8 points but that was also a neutral location in Indiana so Purdue had a bit of a home advantage there. Other than that as well as their 10 point win against Gonzaga, their other 4 games this season at neutral locations have all been wins by 6 points or less. Purdue has definitely struggled more away from home this season and now they are going up against a Maryland team that is 9-4 this season and has given them trouble before. Kevin Willard is in his 2nd season coaching the team but already last season he pulled off a win at home against Purdue as well as a 3 point loss on the road against them. They know how to contain Edey in this game and they are going to give Purdue trouble at home as they have also been playing very well recently, winning their last 5 straight games since last losing on the road against Indiana. They have also been very dominant at home this season as they have won all 8 of their games there, including their 1 conference game there against Penn State. Maryland has the formula to beat Purdue at home here and they will at least keep this game close enough to cover. Maryland will cover the spread in this game.
