AMEDEUS' DIVISIONAL RD GAME OF THE YEAR!
(NFL) Kansas City vs. Buffalo,
Point Spread: 2.50 | 102.00 Kansas City (Away)
Result: Win
The Chiefs are coming into this game after a 26-7 win against the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card Round. That win came at home and now the Chiefs are going on the road to play the Bills in what will be Patrick Mahomes 1st road playoff game. The Chiefs had a very good start to the season but their offense clearly had problems which became an issue when they hit a bit of a slump in the 2nd half of the season. They have been playing much better over the last few weeks though, winning their last 3 straight games as well as 4 of their last 5 games. Their offense has not been great in these games as they have failed to score 30 points in any of those, but defense has been their strength as a team this season and their defense played very well in those games as they have been all season. The Chiefs have not allowed more than 17 points scored against them in their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games. They have also allowed 20 points or less in their last 6 straight as well as 7 of their last 8 games. The Bills beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead a few weeks ago but even that win for the Bills was a game they only scored 20 points in. The Bills are coming into this game playing very well right now as they have won their last 6 straight games and have been running the table since November. They have also been a much better team at home this season, but their defense has not been great. Their offense has definitely been performing but their defense has allowed at least 17 points or more in 3 of their last 4 games. Josh Allen has been playing very well recently but he has had some very bad games this season when he gets rattled and even though the Bills finally get the home advantage in this playoff game against them, Allen still has not beaten Mahomes in the playoffs and that is something that could come back to haunt him here if he gets rattled by this very good Chiefs defense early on. The Chiefs have not been at their best this season but they have been playing much better over the last few weeks and they are still the defending Super Bowl champions that will play with that pedigree in this game. The Chiefs defense is good enough to win this game for them and their offense will definitely be able to exploit some of the holes in this Bills defense in recent weeks. The Chiefs will cover the spread in this game.
