The Steelers are coming into this game off of a win against the Falcons in their 1st game of the season. They won on the road against the Falcons 18-10, but the offense was not very good as they won without scoring a TD in the game. They were very efficient on the ground with over 100 rushing yards between Harris and Fields, but Fields only had 156 passing yards with a lot of stalling drives as he is still settling into this new offense. One thing is for certain in this offense, the run game is going to be a big part of their game plan so they will struggle to come back if this game gets away from them. They are going up against a Broncos team that is coming off of a loss in their 1st game of the season, losing on the road to the Seahawks 26-20, but Bo Nix was not awful in that game for such a tough road start to start his NFL career. He only had 138 passing yards and 2 interceptions, but he will be much better in his 2nd start here at home. The Broncos struggled to stop the run in Seattle last week, but that was also a much harder offense to defend with a lot of weapons and a deep threat. The Steelers do not have much of a passing offense with Fields yet so this will be easier for the Broncos to defend with their focus on stopping the run. This is also the 2nd straight road game for the Steelers and it will be tough with this game being in Denver where the altitude can have an effect. The Broncos will cover the spread in this game.
