The Eagles are coming into this game with a 1-1 record this season and they are going to be hungry to bounce back in this game. They won their 1st game of the season against the Packers in Brazil, but they followed up with a loss in their last game. They lost at home on Monday night against the Falcons, and they lost that game by 1 point after dominating for most of the game but giving up a game winning TD drive in the last 2 mins. They are going to be hungry to bounce back after the way they lost that game in prime time and this is a good spot for them to get that bounce back win. They are going up against a Saints team that is 2-0 this season and has been on fire in their 2 games, scoring 40+ points in each. They have not had a very good passing game though, despite the blowout wins. They won their 1st game of the season at home against the Panthers 47-10, but the Panthers are playing like the worst team in the league once again this season. They are coming off of an impressive win on the road against the Cowboys in their last game, winning 44-19, but the Cowboys are not as good as they were last season, still finding a groove with their new DC, and Derek Carr only threw 16 passes in that game as well. The run game has been very strong for this Saints team and the Eagles have been allowing a lot of yards on the ground in their 2 games, but they also have a lot of quality in their defensive line and they should be playing much better than the way they have started the season. Stopping the run is going to be a big part of their game plan here so the Eagles defensive line is going to step up in this game, and Carr has not really been truly tested in a game where he needed to throw the ball. The Eagles have a very balanced offense with their strong run game led by Saquon Barkley and Hurts has been moving the ball downfield through the air as well. The Eagles will cover the spread in this game.
