The Saints are coming into this game with a 2-1 record this season. They are going to be hungry to bounce back from that tight loss at home, and they are going to get up for this divisional game as they could be very important in the NFC South this season. They are going up against a Falcons team that is 1-2 this season and they have played in a lot of tight games this season. Both of their losses have been within 1 score this season and their only win came on the road by just 1 point. Kirk Cousins has not played poorly this season, but he has definitely struggled in this new offense and is still trying to find a rhythm. Their run game has also been on and off as they were great on the ground in their win against the Eagles, but they struggled to run the ball against the Chiefs last week. The Saints struggled to stop the run against the Eagles last week, but their run defense was great in their 2 wins and they will be able to slow down this Falcons offense on the ground. The Saints have been more of a run heavy offense this season, and that is going to match up well against the Falcons. The Falcons have struggled to stop the run in all 3 of their games so far. The Steelers and the Eagles both shredded this Falcons defense on the ground, and even the Chiefs got a lot done with a backup RB getting his 1st real shot in the league. The Saints are going to be able to move the ball on the ground against this defense and that is going to open up this passing game for Carr to do a lot of damage like he did in their first 2 games.
