The Commanders are coming into this game with a 2-1 record this season and they have won 2 straight games after losing their 1st of the season, but this is not a good spot for them. They are already on a shorter week since they played on Monday night so less time to prepare, but they are also playing their 2nd straight game on the road and coming off of a big upset win over the Bengals in prime time on Monday night. That game was a big emotional win for the Commanders as Jayden Daniels was going up against Joe Burrow who he was constantly compared to being at LSU throughout college. This will be a tough game on the road in Arizona as the Commanders do not have a great defense, allowing 33 points in that win, and the Cardinals have a very good offense that can attack this defense. The Commanders have struggled to stop the run in all 3 of their games and that includes their last 2 games against much weaker run games. The Cardinals have a very good run game led by Conner, but they also have a quarterback in Kyler Murray who can use his legs and find ways to move the ball. The pass defense has not been great either and they are only going to struggle more with the Cardinals running the ball efficiently. The Cardinals have not been great on defense themselves, but they have been improving in each game this season and they have a good enough pass defense to disrupt this rookie quarterback. This is a bad spot for the Commanders coming off of that big Monday win. The Cardinals will cover the spread in this game.
