The Steelers are coming into this game with a 3-1 record this season and they are coming off of their 1st loss of the season in their last game. They lost on the road to the Colts 27-24, but it was the 1st game this season that they scored over 20 points in while Fields had over 300 yards passing and 3 TDs with no interceptions as well. They may have lost the game, but it was their best offensive performance of the season and now they are going to have some more confidence coming back home for this game with more trust in Fields as well. The defense was not great in that game, but they have been very good all season and will bounce back with a better game at home. They are going up against a Cowboys team that is 2-2 this season and both of their wins this season have come on the road, but they are coming off of a 20-15 win against the Giants and did not play well in that game. Their offense struggled to finish drives in the endzone and their run game was not good either. Their run game has struggled all season as well, downgraded heavily from last season with Dowdle and Elliot now being the core pieces. The Steelers have a very good defense that is going to get to Dak with some pressure and they will not be able to run the ball effectively to help with that. The Cowboys defense has also struggled to stop the run in their games this season so the Steelers offense is going to move the ball efficiently on the ground. They have had a very strong run game this season led by Najee Harris, but Fields also has the ability to use his legs so that will be difficult for this banged up Cowboys defense to defend. The Cowboys have taken a big step back from last season on both sides of the ball while the Steelers have improved and are only going to have more confidence about their offense after their last game.
