He has been great in these playoffs so far, but he has also been pitching very well over the last 2 months as he ended the regular season allowing just 3 earned runs total in his last 6 starts combined. He has not allowed an earned run in his last 3 starts at home either. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is starting for the Dodgers in this game and he is 7-2 with a 3.00 ERA this season. He has pitched twice in these playoffs and was great in his last start, allowing no runs in 5 innings against the Padres, but he also allowed 5 earned runs in just 3 innings against the Padres earlier in that series. He also missed 2 months of the season with an injury and just came back in September. He has not been pitching very deep into his starts and the only time he faced the Mets this season was back in April, allowing 4 runs, 3 earned, in a 9-4 loss at home. The Mets struggled to score a run in game 3 but they were getting guys on base and had their chances to make it a game before the Dodgers added to the lead.
