The Lightning are coming into this game with a 6-3-0 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. Their defense has been good in these games, but they have actually played worse on the road recently. Their offense has been scoring a lot of goals all season, scoring 5+ goals in 2 of their last 3 as well as 4+ goals in 4 of their last 6 games. Their defense was a big problem to start the season, but they have been better recently as they have allowed 2 goals or less in 3 of their last 5 games as well. The Avalanche have also won 2 of their last 3 games at home and they are going to be hungry to bounce back from that loss against the Blackhawks in their last game. The Lightning have not been playing as well on the road recently and they have been allowing a lot of goals in those games which will be the difference here against this potent Avalanche offense.
