Ohio State is coming into this game with a 6-1 record this season and they are 3-1 in the conference. They already have 1 loss in the Big 10 so this is a must win game for them as a loss will likely keep them out of the championship game, but they have not played well in their last 2 games. They lost on the road against Oregon 32-31 in a very close game, but then they went into their bye week and came out last week barely beating Nebraska at home 21-17. Their defense has been great all season, but they struggled to stay ahead of Nebraska in their last game and the only real offensive threat they have faced all season they allowed 32 points in a loss. They are going up against a Penn State team that is 7-0 this season and 4-0 in the conference. Penn State has been playing very well in recent games as 4 of their last 5 wins have been by 10+ points. Their defense has also been very good as they have allowed just 13 points or less in 4 of their last 5 games. The only game they struggled in was their 33-30 win over USC, but that was also their 1st real road game in the conference which they had to travel to the other side of the country for. They bounced back in their last game though as they beat Wisconsin 28-13 on the road again. Penn State has been much better at home as they have won all 4 games there this season and their last 3 by 10+ points. This was already a very close game last season as Penn State lost 20-12 in Ohio State and even had their chances to take that game, but now they are at home with an improved team and they are coming into this game with the mentality that this could finally be their year. Penn State will cover the spread in this game.
