The Blackhawks are coming into this game with a 4-7-1 record this season but they have been playing well in their recent games, winning 2 of their last 3 games. They have played 4 straight games on the road though and this is a very bad spot for them as they played last night in LA, winning 4-3 in overtime as well, so now they are playing on a B2B and this is also the last game of their road trip out West so they are going to be playing with some fatigue here. They are going up against a Ducks team that is 4-4-2 this season and has not been playing well in their recent games, losing 3 of their last 4 games and coming off of a 2-1 loss in OT against the Penguins in their last game, but they will be hungry to bounce back here at home as 2 of those 3 losses were by just 1 goal. This is also the 1st game back from a 4 game road trip out on the East coast, but their last game in Pittsburgh was on Thursday so they have been back with some time to rest for this game and this is a much better spot for them at home. Their defense has been very good as they have only allowed 2 goals or less in 4 of their last 5 games and have allowed just 3 goals total in their last 2 games alone. Their defense has been much better so they are going to lean on that at home to get a much needed bounce back win here, and they will have some confidence as they are going up against one of the worst teams in the league who are also in a bad spot on the B2B after a game that went to OT and playing the last game of a road trip as well. The Ducks will win this game at home.
