Utah is coming into this game with a 30-26-11 record this season and they have not been great in their recent games. They are coming off of a 3-1 win on the road against the Canucks in their last game and have won 2 of their last 3 games now, but they have also lost 3 of their last 5 games and have been very inconsistent all season. They have also been worse on the road recently as they have lost 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 road games, and they took 2 bad losses in that span against the Kraken and the Blackhawks. They are going up against an Oilers team that is 39-24-4 this season and even though they have not been great recently, they are still in 2nd place in the Pacific Division and have been one of the better teams in the Western Conference all year. They have been in a big slump over the last 3 weeks, but now they are starting to break out of it as they have played much better recently. They have won their last 2 straight as well as 4 of their last 6 games and their defense has been much better as they have only allowed 1 goal in each of their last 2 games. Their last 2 wins both came on the road as well, and they have been playing well at home as they have won their last 2 games there with their offense playing much better in those, scoring 8 goals total in those 2 games. The Oilers are starting to find their rhythm again after a very bad stretch so this should be a much easier game for them at home to continue gaining confidence. The Oilers will win this game at home.
