Liberty is coming into this game with a 28-6 record this season and they were 13-5 in their conference. They have been playing very well in their recent games as they have won their last 5 straight as well as 11 of their last 12 games, but they also play in a much weaker conference. They were great in their non-conference games as they were 12-1 to start the season, but they had a very weak schedule. They only played 1 power conference opponent all season and they won that game by 2 points, but it was against one of the worst Big 12 teams in Kansas State. They have not been tested by any quality teams all season and are going to have a rude awakening in this game. They are going up against an Oregon team that is 24-9 this season and they were 12-8 in their conference. They were not fominant in the Big 10 this season as they hit a rough patch in the middle of the season and they lost to Michigan State in the Big 10 Tournament as well, but they have been on fire recently as they have won 8 of their last 9 games and are starting to heat up again. They were also very good in their non-conference as they started the season very hot, going 11-0 in those games, and they did not have an easy schedule either with a lot of wins against quality opponents. They have quality wins over Alabama as well as Texas A&M, and they won 6 of their 7 games this season against non-power conference opponents by 10+ points. Oregon has been the more balanced team all season while Liberty's only game plan is hitting 3's and once that starts going South, they will have no answer for Oregon.
