The Sabres were a decent team last season who almost made the playoffs. They along with the Rangers are one of the highest scoring offenses in the league and they should be a lot better this season as this young team gels. They are a dog at home to a Rangers team with talent and with the goaltending edge in Igor Shesterkin, however, this team did beat New York two out of three times and one of those games was at home. All three games were tight close games and all went under the total as well. On this game opening night, it will be hard to go against this young Sabres team who seem to have the Rangers number and are solid at home.
