MACK'S NFL BARKING DOG!
(NFL) Arizona vs. Philadelphia,
Point Spread: 13.00 | -111.00 Arizona (Away)
Result: Win
The Eagles are coming into this game after one of the most toughest stretches they have had all season and they host a struggling Cardinals team, but the Cardinals have had some success against this Eagles team. The Eagles also didn't cover the spread last week versus the Giants and have struggled with that in spots all season long as they also gave up points to them. This year's Eagles team is struggling to cover double digits spreads, even against weaker teams. There is pressure in this game for the Eagles to win it because it has implications in their NFC title race. However, this team is not playing up to their best potential like they did last season and something seems to be "not right" with this team week in and week out. This game means nothing for the Cardinals other than another game where QB Murray has to play a good game to keep his position with the team. Coach Gannon was also the defensive coordinator last season for the Eagles and he wants to come into this game with some fight and will want to have a good showing versus his last team, as he is well aware of this team's weak points. Also, the Eagles lost their offensive coordinator as well, to the Colts who are surprisingly, looking much better this season, so it could be a case that this team is having trouble adjusting to those losses and it is showing up this season's games. This team was much better last season with having both of those coordinators at the helm. The Cardinals play well against NFC East divisional opponents and have had success this season against those teams going 3-0 ATS. Hurts has been inconsistent in his quarterback play this season and the Cardinals love to put up offense and have been known to do that late in a game, so the back door cover is in play here. This is just a bit too many points here in this spot.

Arizona are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against Philadelphia. Arizona are 6-3 SU in their last 9 games against Philadelphia. Arizona are 10-0 ATS in their last 10 games against an opponent in the NFC East division. Philadelphia are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games. Philadelphia are 11-5 SU in their last 16 games when playing at home against Arizona. Philadelphia are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games played in December. The league stat of playing on road teams like Arizona, after failing to cover the spread in 3 out of their last 4 games, in December games pans out 68.1% of the time or 94-44 over the last ten seasons.

Best bet: take the points with Arizona.
