Jon Gray won his last two starts and has pitched better in July. He has been decent on the road and the team will fight and back him up, to not get swept in this series. These are the kinds of games they need to win if they want to make a run in the last half of the season. Berrios has been terrible lately after starting the season off so well, as the team lost his last two starts. He’s going to get outplayed by a desperate Rangers team who almost had a chance to win yesterday’s game. They left a lot of batters on base so they should be able to get over the hump in this one with Gray on the mound. The Jays also have the worst bullpen in this matchup with a collective ERA of 4.53, and that should help Texas. The Rangers are 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Toronto and are 13-6 in their last 19 games against an opponent in the American League.
