MACK'S CFB **FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!
(NCAAF) Rebels (UNLV) vs. Jayhawks (KAN),
Point Spread: 9.50 | -110.00 Rebels (UNLV) (Away)
Result: Win
There’s some concern with the Jayhawks and their defensive play this season. It hasn’t looked great and can be exploited by this high powered Rebel offense. QB Jalon Daniels has been dealing with back issues going back to last season and hasn’t looked like himself so far. Usually Kansas’ high powered offense would bury teams with points and by racking up yardage, but their offense had a slow start in Week 1 and fumbled their lead against Illinois last week to hand the game over to Illinois. The Illinois defense was able to limit the Jayhawks offense and created turnover opportunities that affected the score. They were able to frustrate Daniels who had three interceptions and a fumble as Illinois physicality won the day. Kansas lost their OC last season and the team hasn’t been the same in the offensive area as this team still seems off. The Rebels have some skilled weapons and their defense has improved from last season, and the team as a whole have taken a step forward this season. The Rebels should be able to run the ball on the Jayhawks defensive line and they can take advantage of the Jayhawks weaker secondary. This should be a competitive game that should come down to a single score.

Best bet: take the points with UNLV.
