Despite NIU’s impressive win against Notre Dame, they still are a MAC team that is playing another this week. These two are very familiar with each other and have played each other many times so there are no surprises here. This is too many points for a MAC game between foes, and for a Bulls team that has improved on both sides of the ball and has a coaching edge. The Bulls are 6-0 against the spread on the road when playing with 6 or less days rest and they are 7-1 against the spread in the first half of the season. NIU is 2-8 against the spread as a home favorite and they are 0-4 against the spread as a home favorite of 7.5 to 14 points. NIU is 1-6 against the spread after playing their last game on the road.

Best bet: take the points with the Buffalo Bulls.
