The Penguins have struggled with defense and haven’t had a solid goaltender for several seasons and have allowed 4 goals per game in their last six games while averaging 4 plus goals of offense in their last four games and are still playing well despite being out of the playoffs. These two teams have gone over the total in seven of their last nine games that saw a combined total of 6 or more goals in those over games. The Devils have a slightly better defense but are still allowing 3 goals per game in their last seven but are managing over 3.14 goals of offense in their last seven games. This game should see some goals as their earlier game this season saw a combined 9 goals and it won’t be a tight defensive game but a more wide open offensive game as this game doesn’t mean much to the Penguins who are just playing the season out.
