This is my favorite play of the day. Tarik Skubal is the undisputed Cy Young, but I love the value on Cleveland here. Boyd has been solid and likely will only be tasked with keeping a mediocre Tigers offense at bay for 4-5 innings. The Guardians' bullpen posted the 4th lowest ERA in the wildcard era this season, setting them up perfectly in a game like this. If Cleveland can wait out Skubal and keep the game close, they can turn this into a battle of the bullpens. I see a close Cleveland win and will grab the underdog price.
