WK3 | COLORADO @ COLORADO STATE
(NCAAF) Buffaloes (COL) vs. Rams (CSU),
Point Spread: -7.00 | -112.00 Buffaloes (COL) (Away)
Result: Win
- New year, same story for Colorado. Sanders, Hunter, and the passing attack can be elite if they are given time to do so. Obviously had a tough time at it against Nebraska last week, however, the Huskers have a pretty solid defensive line, especially with Hutmacher. Colorado State lost Mohamed Kamara to the NFL draft last year after he tallied 13 sacks last season. This year through 2 games the Rams have 1 sack as a team. The key to this pick is the Buffs should have time on offense and that generally is their main recipe for success.

- Defensively, Colorado is still pretty poor. They had a solid 2nd half last week against Nebraska, but it seemed like the Huskers shut things down a bit and were very conservative.

- The Rams offense has seen a step back so far this year. Star WR Tory Horton came away from last week with an injured groin. He will be playing, but maybe not 100%, would not change the pick regardless. The Buffs defense actually looked okay against the run last week so if CSU shifts to the run game that could benefit Colorado.
