- UTSA just is not the same team it once was without Frank Harris. The offense really lacks that explosiveness it used to have and now runs into a pretty solid ECU defensive unit that is allowing less than 20 points per game.
- While ECU does have a solid defense, their offense is far from it. Outside of 42 points in their opener against FCS Norfolk St they have yet to score over 24. UTSA's pass defense can be suspect but I am not sure ECU is the team that can take advantage of that. UTSA's rush defense has not been too bad this year which could even take ECU's option of leaning on a run game away.
- This combination of matchups historically has vegas team totals of under 20 points and so far in 2024 this matchup combination is averaging just 36 points. Well under the 55.5 total.
