- What has happened to the App State defense? They have been absolutely gashed on the ground 3 of their 4 games, including 2 games against Clemson and South Bama where they gave up 7.4 yards per rush. Now Liberty rolls in with a rushing attack that ranks 12th in GameScore so far this year. Liberty should have huge success on the ground and still have Kaidon Salter who can throw if needed unlike the 2 wins so far for App State (ECU and ETSU) where their opponents were pretty restricted through the air.

- Have enough faith in Liberty pass D to at least limit App State rather pass heavy attack.

- App State is normally a tough place to play amongst the G5 schools, however the way their defense has played this year it has been tough for the crowd to stay energized. Not as much of a factor as normal.
