- At just 48.5, we are just looking for mid-20s for each team at minimum. This total seems very low for a game that features 2 teams with defenses that have below average success rates on defense in all 4 units.

- Illinois offensively has been either been pretty good or really bad all year. Coincidence in every really bad performance was the caliber of opponent defense.

Outside of those 4 games the least amount of points they've scored is 23 in week 2 against Kansas. This offense tends to play well and put up points against the less talented defenses they play. An obvious statement, but one that is very relevant to this game.
