WK14 | AIR FORCE @ SAN DIEGO ST
(NCAAF) Falcons (AF) vs. Aztecs (SDSU),
Point Spread: -3.50 | -107.00 Falcons (AF) (Away)
Result: Win
- After a 1-7 start Air Force has won 3 straight and is playing their best football of the year. The triple option attack has averaged 311 yards over those last 3 games including 319 last week in a game against Nevada where Air Force didn't throw one pass. This week the Falcons travel to San Diego State. Historically a run-heavy, good defensive squad, not so much anymore. They are coming off of 5 straight losses, and in their last 3 their opponents have averaged 292 yards on the ground.

- Another key part of Air Force's recent success is the improvement in rush defense. They have Finnelytics games scores over 80 in each of their last 4 games, giving up an average of just 91 yards on the ground in that span. San Diego State has struggled on offense all year, so the improved rush D can hopefully get the Aztecs in some 3rd and long situations and take advantage.
