Ahh, College Football and surprise, surprise, I will be starting off with a total. Wyoming had mediocre offense last year as they averaged just 25.4 ppg and it will take a pretty big step back this year, with just 4 starters returning on that side of the ball. Wyoming lost two good QBs, their top RB and top WR to the transfer portal and must now face a Bret Bielema defense that improved last year by 13 ppg over 2020. Bielema has six starters back from a group that allowed just 21.,9 ppg last year and so Wyoming will struggle to score. Illinois has a very weak passing game, but Bielema likes to run the ball anyway and Wyoming will be good against the run this year. The Cowboys will also look to run the ball a lot in this one and Illinois allowed just 3.8 ypc last year. Both teams will run the ball a ton in this one and that will help short the game and keep this one well Under the Total.
