The New Mexico Lobos hung up 41 points in their opener, but that was against Maine from the FCS. This is still an offense that averaged just 12.2 ppg last year and they have just five starters back from that group. The Boise Defense struggled in their opener, but Oregon State does have a good offense and the Broncos do have nine starters back on defense. They will get back on track on that side of the ball in this one. The Lobos will also run the ball a ton and that will chew up plenty of the clock. Boise State will have a better offensive showing than it did against the Beavers, but they are not playing a patsy defense in this one. New Mexico has seven starters back on defense and they rate as the 5th best defense in the MWC. Their defense and running game will keep Boise State from piling up the points in this one. Lastly, the Under is 6-0 in Boise State's last six road games and 12-3-1 in New Mexico's last 16 Friday games.
