Colorado has won six of their last seven against the Islanders and they will be desperate to get on the right track after losing to the Vegas Golden Knights and Columbus Blue Jackets in the first two games of their season. The Islanders got shut out against the Dallas Stars and while I don't expect them to get shut out here, the Avalanche have scored at least four goals in each of their first two games of the season. I trust in their offense at home to be better than New York's.
