The Reds are off a big 9-2 win and now that the pressure of the playoff race is over Cincinnati is actually swinging hot bats! With wins in 3 straight games and averaging 8 runs per victory, the Reds should stay hot here no matter who they face on the mound. Looks like Pirates could go with Connor Overton as the starter and he has limited MLB experience. In most recent MLB start (he has made only 2) he allowed 4 earned runs in less than 3 innings! He is expected to be opposed by Reiver Sanmartin for the Reds and he had been struggling at the minor league level recently with getting hit hard in 4 of his last 6 starts. The starting pitching has question marks for both these teams here, the hitters have been hot, and neither bullpen has fared well this season. Also, the Pirates pen worse on the road and the Reds pen worse at home. All the factors are pointing to an over here and we like this one no matter who starts because both teams could end up approaching this one as a bullpen game.
