Keep in mind 3 of those losses came on the road and their 2 home losses were vs Alabama and South Carolina who are 1st and 2nd place in the SEC. In their most recent home game vs the Gamecocks (2nd place in the SEC), UGA was favored by -1.5 and now they are getting +3.5 vs Florida who is in 5th place in the SEC. Also adding to the value in this line is the fact that Florida has won 6 of their last 7 games. However, 4 of those 6 wins came at home and half of those wins (3) were down to the wire coming by 2 points or less or in OT. These 2 SEC rivals just met in Florida a few weeks ago in a game the Gators were favored by 8 and won in OT. Florida made 8 more FT’s in that game yet it still was in doubt at home. Now they go on the road where they are just 2-4 SU this season and one of those wins was in OT. Georgia is 11-3 at home this season with all of their losses coming vs teams currently ranked in the AP top 15. The Bulldogs have also had a full week off to get ready for this revenge game.
