#608 ASA FREE PLAY ON Baylor +2.5 over Houston, Saturday at 12 PM ET - It’s not often we get to look at Baylor as a home underdog. They haven’t been in that role yet this season and going back further the last time they were a home dog was back in January of 2019. The Bears are 13-1 SU at home this season with their only loss coming vs TCU in triple OT. They’ve won 33 of their last 37 home games and we’re getting them off a road loss @ BYU (we were on BYU) on Tuesday. The Bears are 8-5 in conference play but 4 of those 5 losses have come in OT or by 3 points or less. While Houston will have an edge defensively as they do on everyone, Baylor should have a large edge shooting the ball in this game. They are one of the top shooting teams in the nation (14th in FG%) and at home they’ve made over 52% of their shots. Houston ranks just 258th in shooting percentage and on the road they’ve only made 38% of their FG attempts. The Cougars are just 3-3 SU on the road in Big 12 play and those 3 wins all came by 7 points or less including one in OT @ Texas. Baylor will be the 2nd highest rated team Houston has played on the road this season behind only Iowa State who beat the Cougs in Ames. Baylor is also back at full strength with Langston Love (11 PPG and 49% from 3) back in the line up. He is the top 3 point shooter for the Bears and missed 3 games but came back vs BYU on Tuesday. We like Baylor to pull the upset on Saturday and we’ll grab the points for a buffer.
