It doesn't matter than neither Stephen Curry nor Kevin Durant played last night. The Kings still upset the Warriors, 110-106, at Oracle Arena for their first road win against Golden State since March of 2013.
It's the Kings' biggest victory of the season. Unfortunately for the Kings they don't get to celebrate long as they travel home to play the hungry Bucks.
While the Kings are in a rare letdown spot the Bucks are in stop-the-pain mode having lost three of their last four, including a 121-108 defeat to the Jazz in Utah this past Saturday.
The Bucks have regrouped following a couple of strong practices and should be able to take advantage of their rested situation.
Upsetting the Warriors doesn't change the fact that the Kings are a lottery team, one of the five-worst in the NBA at 6-14. They rank second-to-last in scoring at 95.1 points a game and are among the bottom-three in defensive field goal percentage and defensive 3-point defense.
Milwaukee certainly won't be taking Sacramento lightly after seeing what the Kings did to the defending world champions. The Bucks have been idle for two days and don't play again until Thursday. So a full effort should be forthcoming. Sacramento is 1-7-1 ATS in its last nine games versus Eastern Conference opponents.
The talent gap is wide here. The Bucks have the four best players on the court with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon.
