Arizona is playing its best hockey winning six of its last eight games. The Coyotes are in a great spot here, too. They draw the Senators the night after Ottawa stunned the Golden Knights, 5-4, in Las Vegas. That halted a five-game Ottawa losing streak and probably was cause for a celebration in Sin City.

The Senators now have to travel, likely dealing with hangovers, to face Arizona with no rest. Arizona is off an impressive 5-3 home win against Minnesota on Thursday. The Coyotes are 4-0 the past four times when playing on one day's rest.

This also is the Coyotes' final game of a seven-game homestand so a full effort should be forthcoming. The Senators have lost 12 of the last 17 times when meeting an opponent with a losing record.
