Boston has been one of the most disappointing teams dropping nine of its first 12 games. At some point, the Red Sox will get things turned around. The defending World Series champions are just too talented.

But right now the Red Sox shouldn't be laying huge prices against respectable pitchers.

Aaron Sanchez is showing signs of rounding into his 2016 form when he went 15-2 with a 3.00 ERA. Sanchez has a 1.64 ERA this season. Toronto is 8-3 in his last 11 starts.

Nathan Eovaldi still may be showing the wear-and-tear of pitching an additional 22 1/3 innings during last year's postseason. He has started this season giving up nine runs on 12 hits in 10 innings during his first two starts.
