Stephen Nover's MLB Free Thursday Play
(MLB) LA Dodgers vs. Washington,
Total: 9.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 9.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Win
Rain is in the forecast. But I really hope they play this one because I see this total being too high.
The Dodgers rank last surprisingly in the National League against lefties in batting average, hitting only .217. They're due to face southpaw Patrick Corbin here. Cobin has been one of the better lefties the last few years in the National League. After a slow start, he's turning things around with a 2.66 ERA during his last three starts.
The Nationals have been mashing, averaging eight runs during their past four games. However, they could be without their two best hitters, Trea Turner and Juan Soto. Turner jammed his little finger during a sixth-inning dive on a triple Wednesday night. Soto left last night's game in the ninth inning due to hamstring discomfort.
LA is starting Tony Gonsolin, backed by a fully rested bullpen. The Dodgers were idle Wednesday.
Gonsolin is another high-ceiling, talented young Dodgers pitcher. He's been building stamina following a stint on IL due to right shoulder inflammation. He allowed one run on one hit with seven strikeouts and two walks in four innings during his last start this past Friday against the Cubs.
(Editor's note: Stephen Nover's Thursday ticket is headed by his NBA Eastern Conference Game of the Year. Stephen is 12-5 on his last 17 NBA plays for 71 percent and coming off a rocking chair winner with the Suns on Wednesday. Stephen also is 4-0 the last two days on his premium/free baseball plays.)
