The Mariners are a spunky team with the ability to hang close despite having a low team batting average. Seattle would be 12-3 in its last 15 games if given 1 1/2 runs. Houston would be 3-9 in its last 12 games if laying 1 1/2 runs. 

That gives us a path to take the Mariners at plus 1 1/2 runs on the run line as they try to avoid a three-game sweep against Houston. 
The pitching matchup is Tyler Anderson versus Jose Urquidy. 

Anderson has been very respectable since coming to Seattle from Pittsburgh on July 28. He is 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA in seven starts with the Mariners. 
Urquidy is tough at home with a 4-1 mark and a 2.92 ERA while holding foes to a .193 batting average. Urquidy is just rounding into shape after being on the Injured List. He pitched 4 1/3 innings against the Padres this past Friday in his first game since coming off IL allowing two earned runs on five hits.
