I'm going to ride the Padres here taking 1 1/2 runs on the run line in a pitching matchup of Pierce Johnson versus Kevin Gausman.

This is a bullpen game for San Diego. Johnson should get the Padres off to a good start, though. He is 1-0 with a 1.35 ERA in six career relief appearances versus the Giants. He has a 2.98 ERA on the season.

Gausman is having a strong year going 14-5 with a 2.65 ERA. However, his best months were earlier in the season. He has a 3.50 ERA during his last eight starts.

This is a day game following a long night game. So the Giants could be resting their star catcher, Buster Posey.
