Stephen Nover's Grey Cup Big Ticket

We have a big point spread for Sunday's Grey Cup game between Toronto and Winnipeg at neutral site Vancouver because the Argonauts lost their quarterback, Chad Kelly, to a leg injury in the Eastern Conference Final. That means Nick Arbuckle will be Toronto's quarterback.
Certainly Winnipeg has a quarterback edge now with Zach Collaros. But aside from quarterback, these teams are nearly evenly matched.
So just how important is Winnipeg's QB advantage? Arbuckle has played well in the past two games he's appeared. But I harbor no illusions. Arbuckle isn't that good and will have to be coached up.
However, the Argos have enough going for them to stay within single digits of the Blue Bombers if not upset them straight-up.
Toronto held Winnipeg to a combined 25 points in winning both regular-season meetings. The Argos averaged six sacks a game against the Blue Bombers. The Blue Bombers finished second-to-last in the CFL in points per game at 24.8 and were sixth in net offense.
The Argos hold a special teams edge with Janarion Grant, who led the CFL in punt return average and punt return yards while scoring a league-best four return touchdowns.
Note, too, that the Blue Bombers lost straight-up as favorites the previous two years in the Grey Cup.
