The Saints are fat and happy going 2-0 for interim head coach Darren Rizzi. Fat and happy is a bad combination for a team that is garbage, which the Saints are.

New Orleans has beaten one mediocre-to-decent team, the 6-5 Falcons. The Saints' other victories were against the Panthers, Cowboys and Browns. Combined record of those three teams is 10-23.

The Rams get the checkmark in many key areas.

Passing attack: Matthew Stafford throwing to Cooper Kupp and Puca Nacua. Derek Carr minus his two best wideouts, injured Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.

Coaching: Sean McVay versus Rizzi is a mismatch.

Defense: The Rams had allowed an average of 20 points in their previous five games before losing to the Eagles, 37-20. The Saints have had offensive line injuries nearly the entire season and center Erik McCoy and guard Lucas Patrick are not certain to play here. The Saints allow the second-most yards in the NFL, rank third-from-the-bottom in pass defense and are in the bottom-10 in sacks. Stafford can certainly exploit this defense.
