Today I am taking the Washington Nationals as home favorites against the New York Mets. The Nationals are starting to look good again and have won 5 in a row and are 4 games out of first. If they take care of business in this series the NL East Division race is going to get extremely close and uncomfortable for the Mets. With that being said, what better starting pitcher to have on the mound than Max Scherzer? Scherzer had a bad month of August but looked better his last time out. I expect a very strong, dominating performance today. Take Washington!
