Tonight I am taking the St. Louis Cardinals as small road favorites against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Cardinals blew a 5-0 lead against the Pirates and gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th to go on and lose 6-5 in 11, They want immediate revenge for that and they will get it. They send Jack Flaherty to the mound and he has been solid between the Majors and Triple A. The Pirates send Trevor Williams to the mound and other than his high walk rate he has been excellent this year. The only problem is Williams had no luck against the Cardinals last season, going 0-2 with an 8.78 ERA in three starts. Take St. Louis as they get back in the win column!
