Both teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, but I expect those trends to end this evening.
Miami lost all three at Baltimore over the weekend and it's seen the total fly OVER in five of its last six overall.
St. Louis has now won four of its last five. It saw all three of its totals vs. Washington fly OVER the number over the weekend, but note that the Cards have seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of their last ten after playing to three or more straight OVERs in a row.
Two very decent starters going head-to-head and I anticipate a classic "duel" here. Jesus Luzards is 8-5 with a 3.29 ERA for the Marlins, while Mike Mikolas is 5-5 with a 4.12 ERA for the Cards.
Everything points to this one staying UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
