This is an 8* SUPER BLOWOUT on FIU.

While I'm not calling for the outright victory, I do think we're going to see a highly-competitive affair here and because of that, I'll be recommending to grab as many points as you can in this one.

If you've followed me for any length of time, then you know that I'm a "situational" handicapper at heart, and this one sets up well for the 4-4 Florida International Panthers in my opinion.

Jacksonville State just became bowl eligible last time out vs. WKU in a 20-17 outright win as a 7.5-point dog, and I'm predicting a now predictable mental letdown here.

FIU is off a hard-fought 33-27 OT win at Sam Houston State as a 5-point dog and has a ton of momentum and confidence here.

These teams haven't played since 2020, but Jacksonville State pulled off the upset as a ten-point dog.

That was a long time ago, but I think that FIU now has a legitimtate chance at doing the same here to the visiting side.

That said, in the end my official call will be to grab as many points as you can.
