The Clippers are 3-1 and the Lakers are 2-2. Will the addition of James Harden make the Clippers a better team? Of course, but it doesn't mean that there will be unbelievable chemistry right off the bat. Clearly, it may never work out either.
Either way, I think this is a great spot for the Lakers to grab the first game of the year between the two clubs here in LA. The Lakers are 0-4 ATS so far, but I expect that streak to end. The Clippers are 3-1 ATS.
But the Clippers are coming off a 118-102 win here over Orlando just last night, and fatigue will for sure be an issue here.
Both clubs have a few nights off after this before Eastern road swings, but I say that the Clippers come in a bit fatigued, and I expect the Lakers to smell the blood in the water and to keep the foot on the gas from start to finish.
