This is a 10* AL WEST TOY on the OVER Astros/Mariners.

We have a couple of decent starters going head-to-head here, but I still love the way this one sets up to be more of a "slug-fest," rathern than a "duel."

It's really warn in the PNW right now, and this will for sure have an effect on the ball and will favor the sluggers.

Framber Valdez (8-5, 3.66 ERA) gets the call for the visitors, while George Kirby (7-7, 3.29 ERA) counters for the home side.

Valdez has given up a lot of hits this year, but has been fortunate to limit the damage. I say that trend starts to end here on Saturday night in Seattle (note his ERA raises to 4.20 on the road as well.)

Kirby has been great overall this year, but regression in the secondhalf feels imminent as well.

Look for this total to sneak OVER the number on Saturday night.
