NO. 1 IN THE WORLD?! 10* HOF GAME GAME OF WEEK!

Result: Push
Point Spread: 2.00 | -110.00 Texans (HOU) (Away)

This is a 10* GOW on the Texans.
There is plenty of optimism for both teams coming into the season. The Texans were a disaster in 2022, but turned things around behind CJ Stroud to win the division.
Bears fans can't wait to get a look at QB Caleb Williams, who will benefit from a defense that came together in a big way over the second half of the season last year.
Williams though is not expected to see much time. Neither is Stroud.
And so for me, this one definitely comes down to the backup QB's.
Last year each team only played its starters for one series in the opening game. We can expect something similar from each this season as well.
Houston has way more experience in every facet of the game though, including it's backup QB's Davis Mills and Case Keenum, each who has plenty of starting experience.
Tyson Bagent and Brett Rypien have not nearly as much experience under center as their seasoned counterparts.
Houston was 2-1 in the pre-season last year, while Chicago was 1-2.
Houston has much bigger aspirations this season and it is going to get things started with a resounding ATS win in the 2024 HOF Game.
While the outright is clearly possible, the official call is to grab as many points as you can with HOUSTON.
Good luck, NP
