10* NON-CONF GAME OF MONTH (67-51 NFL RUN!)
(NFL) Panthers (CAR) vs. Broncos (DEN),
Point Spread: 11.00 | -110.00 Panthers (CAR) (Away)
Result: Loss
Point Spread: 11.00 | -110.00 Panthers (CAR) (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10 NON-CONF GOM on Carolina.
I'm not calling for an outright win, but I do think the 1-6 Panthers are going to be able to keep it close enough down the stretch to comfortably sneak in through the back door with the large number of points that they've been afforded.
Denver is 4-3 and off a 33-10 win at New Orleans on Thursday night. With a game at Baltimore and at KC up next though, this is a classic "trap" game for the home side. Off the huge upset win = letdown spot. Two super tough Conference road games against the elite up next = look-ahead.
When you add those two factors together, you get "trap game!"
Andy Dalton is injured, so it is likely Bryce Young is back under center for Carolina.
The Broncos will try to win this game on the ground and the Panthers will keep it close down the stretch.
Grab the points, the play is CAROLINA.
Good luck, NP
