This is a 10* ATLANTIC DIVISION TOY on the OVER Wings/Leafs.
Both of these divisional opponents have played to a few lower-scoring games of late, but I say the conditions are right for a high-scoring "shootout" on Friday though for a couple of different strong situational reasons.
Detroit is 6-5-1 after back-to-back low-scoring victories. But with a game at home vs. the red-hot Rangers, will Detroit get caught "looking ahead."
Toronto is 7-5 and off a 4-0 home win over here over Boston. The Leafs will also have to be careful to not get caught looking ahead to their game here tomorrow night vs. the Habs.
I predict a faster-paced affair, one that leads to plenty of scoring. The play is the OVER.
