This is a 10* NFC EAST TOM on the UNDER Washington/Philadelphia.

It's a big matchup for first place in the NFC East tonight in the first matchup between these two division rivals.

They'll play again in the Nation's capital on December 22nd. Either way, the overall situation that each finds itself in coming into this one, combined with the numbers/trends all point to this being a defensive battle on Thursday night.

Washington just had its three-game win streak snapped in a tight 28-27 loss at home to Pittsburgh. Dating to last year though the Commanders have seen the total dip below the number in three of their last four off a SU/ATS home loss as a favorite.

Philadelphia has won five straight and looked dominant on both ends of the field in last week's 34-6 divisional victory over the Cowboys.

I expect the Eagles' defense to be just as dominant this weekend.

In a contest that I see being decided by field position and the men in the trenches, I'm on the UNDER in this one.
